This template is used to flag doubts about the accuracy of a sentence in the article or questions raised by the editor. It is an open request for confirmation or refutation, or more research, and any appropriate revisions to the sentence to revise this statement to more acceptable wording.

The template can simply be placed after the sentence that needs to be validated.
Parameter {{{1}}} can be set as the title to display, such as to describe what needs to be verified, if not set it will show the page name of the talk page.
Clicking on the link will direct you to the talk page of the page the template is placed on, should any discussion of the issue be initiated and promoted. If the talk page does not exist, the link will turn red.
Pages will be added to Category:Needs verify.
